Summer Swim camp - a swimmer's perspective

11 Jan

Camp was really fun but challenging at the same time. Training outdoors in the heat, in a long course pool made the trainings way more challenging than they should’ve been, but was a good new experience. Waking up in the mornings and drowning ourselves in sunscreen just to get burnt a few hours later was all worth it. It was a tiring 5 days with training 4 hours in the pool each day plus dryland, but being able to complete it ended up being the best feeling. My biggest highlight was being able to get to know everyone more and even becoming friends with the newer swimmers. I really enjoyed camp this year and I am excited to attend more in the future.
