Farewell to coach Cliff Roberts

It's with regret that we farewell Cliff Roberts as a coach from Tawa Swimming Club. Anyone who knows of our club will recognise Cliff as he has been a constant poolside.

Cliff started coaching with the club when his son Justin joined the club 16 years ago. Cliff started off as a volunteer coach at club level before moving into a coaching position in our junior competitive squads. He also qualified as a national IOT and has acted in that capacity for the club for a number of years.

Cliff has coached almost every senior swimmers in the club, having been the face of our junior programme for many years. His coaching ability has been recognised by Swimming Wellington being a finalist for the Junior Coach of the Year award the last couple of years.

Cliff will remain involved with the club as an IOT.
